One Business, Many Search Areas

Google shows local results based largely on how close a business is to the person searching. That’s great when the customer is near your office, and harder when they’re 30 minutes across the county. A plumber in Brandon, a pressure washing company in Riverview, or a contractor in Plant City may happily drive anywhere in the county, but Google doesn’t automatically know that.

County-wide SEO is about closing that gap: showing Google, and customers, that you really serve the areas you say you do.

Setting Up Your Google Service Area Correctly

If you travel to customers, your Google Business Profile should be set up as a service-area business, with service areas that match where you actually work. Google allows up to 20 service areas, and choosing them carefully, by city, community, or ZIP code, matters more than listing as many as possible. We also make sure your address and phone number are the same on every directory, since conflicting listings weaken how Google sees your business everywhere.

Location Pages That Aren’t Copy and Paste

A common shortcut is building a page for every town in the county with the same text and a different name swapped in. Google is good at spotting those pages and tends to ignore them. A page for an area should say something real about it: the neighborhoods you cover, the type of work you do there, how quickly you can get there, and what customers in that area usually need. We build fewer, stronger pages for the areas that bring you the most business.

Reviews From Across the County

Reviews from customers in different parts of the county help show Google that you’re active across your whole service area. We help you set up a simple routine for asking happy customers for reviews and make sure every review gets a real reply.

Web Design Built for a Service Area

Your website should make your service area obvious within a few seconds: where you work, what you do, and how to reach you. We build fast, mobile-friendly sites on a monthly plan with SEO built in, and we can optimize an existing site if you’d rather keep it.

Common Questions

Can I rank across all of Hillsborough County?

You can improve how often you show up across the county, but location still matters to Google, so you’ll usually rank strongest near your office. A correctly set service area, solid area pages, and reviews from across the county help you show up in more of the places you work.

Do I need a separate page for every town?

No. A few strong pages for the areas that bring you the most business usually do better than dozens of nearly identical pages. Each page should cover something genuinely specific to that area.

Should I list my home address if I run my business from home?

If customers don’t visit you, you can hide your address on Google and show a service area instead. We set this up so your listing follows Google’s guidelines and still shows up for searches across your area.

Where are you located?

Our office is in Plant City, on the east side of Hillsborough County. We work with businesses throughout the county, from Tampa and Brandon to Riverview, Apollo Beach, and Ruskin.
